What exactly does Onetime do?

We digitise your physical media, store the results in an encrypted private vault, and stream them back to you through your own OTT channel. One account covers all three.

Do I have to use all three products?

No. Digital, Cloud and OTT work on their own or together, and they share a single login either way.

How do I send you my media?

Post it to us using the tracked, insured transport we arrange, or connect an existing drive and we will work from that.

Which formats can you handle?

Over 40 legacy formats, including VHS, Betamax, 8mm and 16mm film, slides, negatives and loose prints. If you have something unusual, ask us first.

What condition will my originals come back in?

They come back exactly as they arrived, by tracked transport. Nothing is trimmed, cleaned or altered without your say-so.

Will the digitised copies be compressed?

No. Masters are stored uncompressed. We can also generate smaller streaming copies, but the archival master is always kept intact.

Who can see my files?

Only you and whoever you share with. Storage is end-to-end encrypted with a zero-knowledge architecture, so we cannot read your files.

Where is my data stored?

On our own infrastructure, in private data centres, with geographically redundant backups.

What happens if I stop paying?

Your files stay intact and downloadable. We will always give you notice and a window to export everything before anything changes.

Which devices can I watch on?

Apple TV, Roku, Android TV, and mobile. You can pick up where you left off on any of them.

Can family members watch too?

Yes. Share secure links with whoever you choose, and revoke access at any time.

Can I watch without an internet connection?

Yes. Downloads are available for offline viewing, ad-free on paid plans.
